Man made boy by Jon skovron

Synopsis

Love can be a real monster.

Sixteen-year-old Boy's never left home. When you're the son of Frankenstein's monster and the Bride, it's tough to go out in public, unless you want to draw the attention of a torch-wielding mob. And since Boy and his family live in a secret enclave of monsters hidden under Times Square, it's important they maintain a low profile.

Boy's only interactions with the world are through the Internet, where he's a hacker extraordinaire who can hide his hulking body and stitched-together face behind a layer of code. When conflict erupts at home, Boy runs away and embarks on a cross-country road trip with the granddaughters of Jekyll and Hyde, who introduce him to malls and diners, love and heartbreak. But no matter how far Boy runs, he can't escape his demons-both literal and figurative-until he faces his family once more.

This hilarious, romantic, and wildly imaginative tale redefines what it means to be a monster-and a man.

Review

Man made boy is a twist on some classic tales. There is something for everyone in this paranormal novel mythology, cyberpunk, fantasy, romance, and coming of age elements. I know it's a lot of genres and some readers might worry that mixing these together would not work, but Jon skovron has taken then time to work them seamlessly together.

Man Made Boy is the story of "boy" the seventeen year old son of Frankenstein who is joined by the granddaughters of Jekyll and Hyde and a few other monsters / legions in this well crafted novel about trying find to find out who you are and where your place  in the world. Skovron's  ability to bring a new life to a old story is amazing.

I have always been a fan of classic  fantasy fiction. I loved the fact that Jon Skovro. I enjoyed his depiction of this somewhat secret community, hidden in the human world. Who interactions with the human world appear to go unnoticed.

There is so many things I could say about this story , however I don't want to risk giving any thing away.
Readers of the classics will find it interesting and definitely worth their time. Paranormal fans will love it.  So make sure to put this on your must read list
